FLAGSHIP PROGRAM

Transform personnel with zero UAS experience into operationally proficient fixed-wing operators. This comprehensive program addresses the critical capability gap: units needing rapid Group 2 UAS deployment without lengthy training pipelines or contractor dependency.

Program Overview

This intensive training program covers complete airframe assembly, autopilot configuration, progressive flight training, tactical mission execution, and field sustainment. Based on Army UALC standards and Ukrainian operational lessons learned. Students build and keep the Falcon — a Group 2 fixed-wing training airframe purpose-built for this program.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Complete Falcon Group 2 airframe assembly from components
  • Autopilot configuration, tuning, and mission planning
  • Intensive simulator and progressive live flight training
  • Tactical mission execution — ISR, reconnaissance, and payload operations
  • Field sustainment: repair, component replacement, and forward logistics

Who Should Attend

Primary Audience:

  • Infantry and maneuver units requiring organic fixed-wing UAS capability
  • Special operations elements
  • Forward observers and reconnaissance teams
  • Intelligence collection teams
  • Military and government operators requiring Group 2 UAS proficiency

Prerequisites: None required (designed for zero prior UAS experience)

Training Approach

Students build complete Falcon airframes from components, configure ArduPlane/autopilot systems, and progress through intensive simulator training before live flight operations. The program emphasizes operator self-sufficiency and field sustainment — not contractor dependency. Every student leaves with a fully functional, proven aircraft.

Program Outcomes

Upon completion, operators demonstrate proficiency in:

  • Building and configuring the Falcon Group 2 fixed-wing airframe
  • Programming autopilot for autonomous and manual flight operations
  • Flying fixed-wing UAS in tactical and operational scenarios
  • Conducting field-level repairs and component replacement
  • Integrating fixed-wing UAS into small unit operations and mission planning

Certification

Graduates are administered the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate knowledge exam during the course. Students leave with both operational proficiency and the regulatory credential required for legal UAS operations.

Program Investment

FFF-401 uses a decoupled pricing model: instruction is priced separately from the Falcon airframe kit. Cohort-based — minimum 8 students, maximum 12. Pricing varies by customer type (DoD/Government, Commercial, Academic).

All-inclusive instruction covers:

  • All course materials, manuals, and laminated reference cards
  • Lead and assistant instructor labor (full 10-day program)
  • 3D printing consumables and fabrication materials
  • Facility, equipment, and software licensing
  • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate exam administered during course

Falcon airframe kit (per student):

  • Complete Falcon Group 2 airframe kit — NDAA-compliant components
